Kate’s Mom was Sawyer’s Waitress?

February 10, 2006 by Nikki Katz

According to a post over at Lost-Media.com,

In last night’s episode The Long Con, Sawyer sat down to a lunch with his partner in crime. The waitress who came over to take their order was actually Kate’s mother from the episode “What Kate Did”. Could Sawyer and Kate have some kind of a connection from their past?

Well, i also noticed in an earlier episode in which the flahback focused on the death of shannon’s father that in one scene you see in the background jack. so can only assume that jack’s eventual wife/divorced wife was in a car accident with shannon’s father, who, by the way, died as a result of jack attending to his soon to be wife/divorced wife rather than the man (shannon’s father) who was taken into the er room with her. i think both incidents point to a central theme in lost; that is, coincidence vs. fate.
