4th Dimension Lost Theory
On the USA Today Pop Candy there is an interesting theory brought up by Sandman. 
It has to do with the 4th dimension. If you look at this image from wikipedia you see that there is an area (a square) where the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th dimension occupy the same space.
So the theory is this… what if Hanso found a gate to the 4th dimension? The button (pushed every 108 minutes) keeps the gate closed. Unfortunately Desmond didn’t push the button and our Losties got trapped. People in the fourth dimension would see things differently and perhaps see themselves in a different light. Sandman says that there is a problem with them being in the 4th dimension. They can’t go back because of the sickness.
This could explain the end of Season 2 and the “outside world” getting a peak into this 4th dimension with the electronic pulse.
Any thoughts on this? Does anyone know more about the 4th dimension?

There are four basic dimensions. (1) Length (2) Width (3) Depth and (4) Time. Time is the fourth dimension….this is basic physics (no insult intended). I have never seen the fourth dimension shown in graphical form (I question the above “graph 4″, but perhaps someone with a PhD in Theoretical Physics could confirm it or debunk it). I know there are more dimensions than these 4 that are theorized by some. By the way, I enjoy this site! -Keith Bass-
