Episode 03.06 Recap
1 Minute: Yeah, I could see right through that whole “policeman” scene. It was pretty apparent Kate’s lover boy was on the other side!
3 Minutes: Now why would Jack ask about the blood tests and the operating room, only to say that he’s not going to do the operation? I mean, did he really want to get Ben’s hopes up? But I do love that sentence… “At least you won’t have to be disappointed for very long.”
8 Minutes: Nice to see Kate happy! Er… Monica? Seems like someone’s been lying to her fiance.
10 Minutes: Awww, so nice of Kate to request Sawyer’s presence on the job site. Wouldn’t want to leave him alone with the Others.
11 MInutes: Now why would Locke want to bury Eko in the forest? So he’s deciding on issues for the whole group? But, ooh, he and Sayid are going on a detour. What’s that about?
13 Minutes: So Alex appears on the scene with a slingshot. How primitive of her! But then she warns Kate and Sawyer not to believe the Others and that they’re going to try to kill Sawyer, just like they did “her boyfriend.” Was that the guy in the cage?
17 Minutes: Poor Kate. They’re going to use her as bait to get Jack to do the operation. Either that or they’ll kill Sawyer.
19 Minutes: The wedding day arrives and Kate/Monica gets a gift from her future mother-in-law. And minutes later, she and Kevin are married.
21 Minutes: Aw, look at the look Jack gives Kate! So tender. But then he realizes that she’s just there to beg him to do the operation. And that she’s crying because they might kill Sawyer. That’s gotta hurt.
29 Minutes; Kate/Monica sneaking into a pay phone booth. That can’t be a good sign. She calls the U.S. Marshals… tells them she doesn’t want to run anymore.
32 Minutes: So Locke’s detour was to get the prayer stick? And hmmm, what was that scripture on the top. “Lift up your eyes and look North.”
33 Minutes: A little lover’s quarrel. And Kate learns that there’s nowhere to go. So what else do you do? Make love for all the cameras watching. They do know that the Others are watching them, right?
41 Minutes: Oceanic airlines flies to Costa Rica? And Kate/Monica has to get a passport to go there for her surprise honeymoon? That’s going to be kind of difficult. Guess it’s time for her to bail on that relationship…
43 Minutes: You know, you’d think they could give Jack some bedding to sleep on. That table looks sooo darn uncomfortable. Then someone lets him out, lets him have a gun, AND he sees Jack and Sawyer in the cage together. But he agrees to do the surgery.
51 Minutes: She’s sad that she’s not pregnant? Did she think she’d keep him that way? And then she drugs him before leaving… Nice.
55 Minutes: So Alex asked about Ben but Juliet doesn’t want him to know. Got to wonder what’s up with that storyline.
57 Minutes: Whoa Jack! I didn’t think you had it in him to risk Ben’s life. But it sounds like he has a good plan. Will he save Kate and Sawyer in time though? The standoff begins. What an intense scene with the walkie talkies. But why does Kate tell Jack that she can’t leave without him? Was she really talking to Sawyer? I guess we’ll find out!

Arrgh! We have to wait until February ‘07 to get our next Lost fix? I may not survive.
