So this season we’ve gotten to know the Others better than ever, with the help of Juliet, the apple of Jack’s eye now that Kate and Sawyer are joined at the hip. On a show famous for killing its darlings, the body count is going to ramp up to ridiculous levels as the season winds down. In the two-hour finale, Jack and a new (improved?) Locke are going to have a long-awaited showdown that will affect the future of all the survivors. Penny and Desmond’s relationship will be featured once again, Hurley will play a crucial role, and the origins of the Dharma Initiative will at last be explained. Rumors abound that the survivors will be splitting into two different factions, but as far as we know there will not be a tribal council and no one will be voted off the island.
