Charlie DID have to die if only to fulfill Desmond’s prophecy…getting Claire and the baby off the island. Charlie sacrificed himself for Claire and ‘turnip head’. That’s the whole reason Charlie went down to the hatch in first place. What I am bummed about is that Claire and Aaron didn’t make it off that way it was ‘meant’ to happen. The writers killed Charlie to have a ‘payoff’ to the Desmond ’seeing the future’ storyline and in the end we didn’t really get it. I wonder if this will ever be addressed on the show in any way?

I love the bee episode, where Kate takes her top off and says “Sorry, it was full of bees” and Charlie says “I would’ve thought C’s, actually” :D
