Lost - Could the Island be Atlantis?
I actually hadn’t thought about this theory, but I kind of like it. Especially with the big “foot” statue!
There are a couple posters over at TV.com forums who have theories tracing Atlantis to the Lost Island…
Atlantis was an ancient city with incredibly advanced technology. It had special powers granted to it by the gods. However when the residents abused that power, the gods sank it. Is it possible the island is Atlantis? It didn’t sink, it merely became lost for all to see?
So how do our current characters come into play? Perhaps there is an illness on the island of Atlantis and they’ve had to go for some outside help. Dharma and Ben become involved…
The natives were none to happy about this, but didnt want to personally go to war against Ben. So they went out in the world and found the people they needed and manipulated their lives so they would all end up on the same flight.
