Lost - Post Writer’s Strike

Well it looks like the end of the writer’s strike is now upon us! So speculation begins on what will happen with the shows, their production schedule, etc.

BuddyTV is projecting that Lost will film six more episodes for Season 4. Unfortunately they will not be complete in time to air directly after the current eight, so they will probably air into June. This will give season 4 a total of 14 episodes.

DocArzt also had this to say:

* It will take 4-6 weeks to get back to actual filming.
* NO discussions have been had regarding the logistics of a return to production.
* The industry is planning on extending the TV season to the end of June.
* If the season is extended a maximum of 6 episodes could be produced.
* Regardless, a minimum of 3 new episodes will be produced.
