Filming Update - Spoilers

lost-episode-4-13-oceanic-6-1.jpgRyan at Hawaii Blog has a fabulous new update regarding the Lost Season 4 finale!!

The episode is centered around the pivotal moment when the Oceanic Six get off the island. To tell that story, the Lost production crew headed out to Wai’anae, the arid, rural west coast of O’ahu.

The cast and their stand-ins took their direction on shore, then made their way into the ocean to film their scene. It was relatively simple in the narrative sense, but working on the water always makes things exponentially more complicated. Crew members had to keep a handle on a surfboard-riding director, hand held cameras and cameramen buffeted by the surf, a sound boat rocking on the waves, and keeping props from floating away. The primary prop? A large, octagonal life raft.

Action is called, and the stars get wet. Jorge Garcia, Yunjun Kim, Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Naveen Andrews and Henry Ian Cusick swim toward the raft through some debris. In several takes, Hurley — clutching a doll that’s most likely playing Aaron — helps pull Kate, Sun, and Sayid aboard. But Jack and Desmond take a little longer to reach them. And Desmond is holding someone who’s not moving.

I hope not! I am going to guess that they are “left behind” because 1) Sawyer never wanted to leave the island
and 2) There wasn’t room for Jin
    No more dying!!

im sure sawyer would have left if he could…
what bugs me about lost, is the other survivors, who we never see or talk to. they might aswell not survived the crash…

and im positive jin doesnt get off at all.. but hes alive as far as we know

From what Sawyer has said to Kate, he did not want to leave the island. He said he had nothing to go back to.

So this is it. This is where the Oceanic 6 finally get rescued. I suspect that they get off the island next episode and then are finally rescued from the raft in the season finale.
