These flash forwards are presented in the order that they were viewed on the show. In parenthesis are numbers corresponding to the order that they flash forwards would appear chronologically for Kate’s life off the island.

Episode 4.04: Eggtown:
(4) Kate is in trial – charged with fraud, arson, assault on a federal officer, assault with a deadly weapon, grand larson, grand theft auto, and murder in the first degree. She pleads not guilty. Jack testifies for Kate. Diane eventually decides not to testify against Kate and Kate is offered 10 years probation as long as she doesn’t leave the state. Kate says she’ll sign it. She just wants it to be over. “I have a child, I’m not going anywhere,” Kate says. Kate goes home to her “son”, Aaron.

Episode 4.10: Something Nice Back Home
(5) Kate is living with Jack and Aaron. Jack proposes to her and she says yes. At one point Jack catches her on the phone with someone. She says it is a friend but he later confronts her and she says she was out doing something for Sawyer. She and Jack fight and he leaves.

Episode 4.12: There’s No Place Like Home
(1) Ms. Decker, a representative for Oceanic Airways, comes into the cargo area where the Oceanic Six sit. Kate just sits there holding Aaron. Ms. Decker tells them that there will be press there when they land. Jack tells them to remember the story they need to tell. The plane lands.

(2) The Oceanic Six sit in front of microphones as they are interviewed from the press about their location and what happened. A man stands and asks Kate what it was like to give birth on the island. Kate replies that it was scary. She says that Aaron is a little over five weeks. “So that would have made you about six months pregnant when the U.S. Marshal service apprehended you in Australia for an outstanding murder warrant. Is that correct?”

(3) Hurley has a surprise party. Everyone has on leis and it’s a Hawaiian theme. Kate and Aaron are there, as are Sayid and Nadia. Jack is running late.

Episode 4.12 (Part 2 and 3): There’s No Place Like Home
(6) Kate wakes up in her bed. The phone rings and she answers it. The person on the other line talks backwards. Kate hears a noise and gets a gun. She runs to Aaron’s room. Claire is in the room, bent over Aaron. “Don’t bring him back, Kate,” Claire says. “Don’t you dare bring him back!” Kate wakes up and realizes it was a dream. She goes to Aaron’s room, kneels beside him and tells him she’s sorry.
