“The Constant” is Best TV of 2008

Time Magazine’s current issue contains a special feature titled “Top 10 Everything of 2008,” and among its various Top 10 lists are the Top 10 TV Episodes and the Top 10 TV Series. Time has named the Season 4 episode of Lost, “The Constant,” as the #1 TV Episode of 2008. I (and most fans out there) couldn’t agree more! I defy anyone to watch the clip above and not tear up, at least a little. It’s pure gold, and one of the best episodes of Lost ever — primarily because of this very scene.
Time also named Lost the #7 TV Series of 2008, behind the likes of The Wire, Mad Men, and The Shield, which came in at #1. I suppose that’s pretty good company to keep, but of course I would have put Lost higher. (But hey, kudos to Time for having the chutzpah to include the Internet-only Dr. Horrible’s Singalong Blog at #4.)
