LOST: “I break for Olympics.”

October 26, 2009 by Robin Parrish

According to Carlton Cuse, Lost’s sixth and final season will begin in January 2010 but then pause for two weeks in February to make way for the Winter Olympics. The Olympics, which this year are taking place in Vancouver, Canada from February 12th through the 28th, traditionally air on NBC, but apparently the powers that be at ABC believe that Lost and the Olympics share the same audience, and don’t wish to pit the two against each other. So Lost will air some episodes, break for a few weeks, and then return for the rest of the season.

And with that, the dream of a non-stop season of Lost has been dashed once again. And this was our last chance! Fail.
