Elizabeth Mitchell cast in Answers to Nothing

Actress Elizabeth Mitchell is keeping busy in her post-Lost career. Aside from starring in ABC’s new reimagining of V, which was just crowned the top-rated new show of the season after its debut this week, Mitchell has joined the cast of an indie film called Answers to Nothing.

Mitchell will play a woman desperate to have a child in the film, which has a sprawling cast and a plot that sounds like something in the vein of Crash or Magnolia. According to IMDB: “Against the backdrop of a missing girl case, lost souls throughout Los Angeles search for meaning and redemption and affect each other in ways they don’t always see.”

Answers to Nothing is expected to see a 2010 release date.
