Sheila Kelley joins LOST for Season 6

November 11, 2009 by Robin Parrish

Actress Sheila Kelley, best known for a three-year role on L.A. Law, has landed a recurring role on Lost’s final season as “Kendall,” a role EW describes as “an intellectual beauty with a sharp edge to her wit who is caught committing corporate espionage and has to lie her way out.”

But Lost is known for sending out faked casting information in order to keep the show’s plot developments a secret. So a role actors think they’re auditioning for might not end up being the role they expected.

I’ve seen more than one report about this mentioning Kelley’s strong resemblance to actress Mira Furlan, who played Danielle Rousseau in the show’s first four seasons. And we know that Furlan turned down an offer to return for Season 6 because of a scheduling conflict. We’ve seen Rousseau played by a younger actress in Season 5… Might we see Rousseau from an age in between these two past incarnations?
