Surprisingly, Mr. Eko wants to go back to the island
June 29, 2009 by Robin Parrish

Okay, so we know that Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), Maggie Grace (Shannon), and Ian Somerhalder (Boone) are all keen to return to Lost in its final season, and at least one of them has been in active talks with the show’s producers about that very possibility.
Now Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, the actor who famously played Mr. Eko — and then asked to be released from his contract long before his planned character arc was finished — says he wouldn’t mind going back to Lost. “To be able to give that rich character some completion would be nice,” he told TV Guide Magazine. Quite a change of heart.
But as TVG points out, the actor burned a lot of bridges with the show’s producers when he left it prematurely, forcing them to compensate by ending their long-term plans for his character. What do you think? Could a full-on reunion with Lost’s dearly departed be in the cards for Season 6? Or would Lost’s producers even consider bringing the actor back, after their difficult first experience?

Emilie de Ravin filming with Robert Pattinson
June 26, 2009 by Robin Parrish
While her friends at Lost have been busy filming Season 5, Emilie de Ravin (who will return full time to the show for Season 6) has been busy becoming a major movie star alongside the likes of red-hot actor Robert Pattinson, of Twilight. After the jump you’ll find a whopping sixty-two spy photos of the actress with Robert Pattinson, filming their new romantic drama Remember Me in New York.
And hey, did I mention… Robert Pattinson?
More on Dominic Monaghan’s involvement in LOST Season 6
June 25, 2009 by Robin Parrish
It’s the rumor that won’t die. Could that be because it’s true?
E! Online was tipped off on Tuesday by “a reliable spy” that actor Dominic Monaghan and Lost mastermind Damon Lindelof “had breakfast together this morning at a Fairfax district eatery in Los Angeles.” Suspicions running on overdrive, E! speculates that either the two of them were just having a friendly get-together, or maybe… they were discussing plans to return Charlie Pace to Lost in its upcoming final season.
What do you think? A load of wishful thinking? Or a genuine possibility?
Getting LOST: Is Boone returning?
June 11, 2009 by Robin Parrish
There are some crazy rumors flying around the Net this week that several (or possibly all!) of the deceased former passengers of Oceanic 815 could be returning to the show for its sixth and final season. Amid swirling bits about Charlie (aka actor Dominic Monaghan) and Shannon (Maggie Grace) possibly making respective comebacks, TV Guide throws fuel on the fire with word straight from actor Ian Somerhalder, who played Boone in the show’s first season, that his return is a very strong possibility.
Is this just actors’ wishful thinking? Or is there a time-has-been-rewritten-so-they’re-not-dead-anymore reunion in the works for all of the show’s stars of yesteryear? Hmm.
Matthew Fox talks Season 6
June 10, 2009 by Robin Parrish
Matthew Fox is currently in Monte Carlo for a television festival happening there, and during an interview, he’s provided some spoilery/teasery clues about what’s to come in Season 6. He doesn’t actually reveal any answers, but he drops some juicy hints about what he knows. The ODI provides the goods:
- Fox always knew that Jack and Locke would go head-to-head in Season 6, though he doesn’t know now if that means the real Locke or Jacob’s enemy in Locke’s form.
- The first scene of Season 6 will explain what happened when the Jughead hydrogen bomb exploded in 1977. Fox says that at first, it will be “both confusing and surprising” to the audience.
- About one third through Season 6, there will become one solidified timeline on the island, with no more flashbacks. (It’s uncertain here if he’s referring to some kind of joining of the 1977 and 2007 time periods, or an amalgamation of current history and the altered history that may have happened when Jughead blew.)
- He says that he is continually surprised at how “moving” the end of the show is going to be.
Dominic Monaghan’s new role: revealed
June 9, 2009 by Robin Parrish
According to IGN, the mystery of Dominic Monaghan’s new casting on ABC has been solved, and it’s not a long-running show that the former Charlie Pace will be joining at all. It’s a new one.
IGN reports that, in a super-secret bit of casting, Monaghan is joining Flash Forward, the new scifi-tinged show based on the novel by Robert J. Sawyer. If true, Monaghan will find at least one familiar face there: another member of the stellar-looking cast is Sonya Walger, aka Lost’s Penelope Widmore.
Claire definitely returning in LOST Season 6
June 9, 2009 by Robin Parrish

Even though it’s been said many times before, it’s once again been affirmed by Lost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse: actress Emilie de Ravin, who stars as Claire Littleton, is returning to Lost for its sixth and final season as a full-time cast member.
Speaking to EW’s Michael Ausiello, Cuse commented, “Damon and I are very excited to bring Claire back to the show, and even more excited for people to experience just how she will return.”
So what do you think? How will Claire return? Will the rest of the cast bump into her while she’s still a ghost hanging out in the jungle with Daddy dearest? Did Juliet change history in the Season 5 finale and prevent Claire from ever ending up on the island? Will she wake up next to Bob Newhart?
Theories: bring it!
Dominic Monaghan returns to ABC
June 8, 2009 by Robin Parrish
It seems Dominic Monaghan has been appearing in a new ABC commercial promoting upcoming shows on the network, and according to EW’s Michael Ausiello, ABC wants you to think it’s because the actor’s returning to Lost.
But he’s not.
Ausiello claims that Monaghan is instead joining the cast of a different hour-long drama on ABC as a full-time regular, and his appointment to the show is meant to be a major surprise. Okay, so… hour long drama, existing show… that narrows it down to Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, and Private Practice. (There’s also Castle and Cupid, but I doubt either of those would elicit such secret-keeping about upcoming plots.) Which show do you think it will be?

Official V trailer
May 21, 2009 by Robin Parrish
Watch Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost’s Juliet Burke) in this 3-minute trailer for ABC’s new Fall scifi drama, V. V is of course a remake of the popular 80s miniseries and subsequent TV show, about aliens come to Earth with the promise of peace when their true aim is subversion. Mitchell stars as FBI Agent Erica Evans, and this trailer shows more of the overall plot of the show and the characters involved, than anything yet shown to the public.
Jury’s out on this one… But did that opening sequence remind you of anything?
