The break in between episodes this week got me to thinking about how there are only 3 more Wednesday nights remaining with new Lost episodes in all of 2009. We won’t see the 6th and final season until January 2010, and it will be much later this year before filming begins. So just what have Lost’s main cast members — past and present — been doing and what will they do with all that downtime?

Let’s have a look at what they’re up to, and where else they can be seen in the near future. (Note that Evangeline Lilly, Daniel Dae Kim, Terry O’Quinn, Henry Ian Cusick, Jeremy Davies, Ken Leung, and Michael Emerson are not currently listed as being involved in any other projects.)

Entertainment Weekly interviewed Daniel Dae Kim and Yunjin Kim on location in Hawaii (watch the video here).

Daniel and Yunjin talk about Lost Season 4 and what is coming in the next few months. “Sun watching her husband, Jin, blow up in front of her eyes, that was as dramatic as we’re going to get on this show!” Yunjin says. Daniel believes that his favorite season is the first one.

Yunjin says that her character has been isolated in Season 5. “It’s really interesting, you get to see a new side of Sun!” Daniel tells us that the Oceanic Six are trying to get back to the Island and there is a lot of action going on.

Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, Terry O’Quinn, Harold Perrineau, Yunjin Kim, Dominic Monaghan, Naveen Andrews, Jorge Garcia, Daniel Dae Kim, and Elizabeth Mitchell all give a shout out for the anniversary of AXN! AXN is Action and Adventure Television, a Sony media asset.

Lost has been doing some more filming in Hawaii this week! Thanks to Ryan at Hawaii Weblog for these great updates.

Two days ago they headed over to the Hawaii Medical Center East, a.k.a. St. Francis, in Kalihi. In front of the building there was Jack’s Ford Bronco, a blue Canton-Rainier Carpet Cleaning cargo van, and a Los Angeles Paramedics ambulance.

Matthew Fox, Naveen Andrews, and Michael Emerson were spotted on set. Jack talks into the phone. He says they need to get there “right now,” and jumps into his truck. Sayid and Ben stay put and have an intesne conversation. Eventually Sayid jumps into the driver’s side of the van, Ben climbs into the passenger’s seat, and they take off.

Later The Waikiki Yacht Club was transformed into the Long Beach Harbor Club for some evening shots. This time there were new vehicles on set. Still the same blue van, but now there was Kate’s silver Volvo, and a silver Jaguar S-Class. Evangeline Lilly, Yunjin Kim, and a young actor playing Aaron were filming.

Yunjin Kim is being featured in a new marketing campaign for The Summit on Sixth, a luxury condo development in Los Angeles!

Yunjin is set to appear in both newspaper and magazine advertisements, as well as other marketing materials in both English and Korean.

Yunjin says that she was impressed with the condo development and expressed a personal interest in the property. She even reserved a unit of her own! “It was by fate that this partnership with Big Rock came about. They didn’t know I was looking for a home in LA, and when I toured the property, I was really impressed with the design and its central location. People that know me can attest to my attention to detail, and I wouldn’t endorse something I didn’t believe in. I wouldn’t call a place home if it didn’t feel like home, and The Summit felt like home,” said Yunjin.

With the continuation of Lost week, Kristin at E!Online sat down with Yunjin Kim.

The Oceanic 6 all feel very guilty, does Yunjin know why? She says she has no idea!! She just always feels guilty. “She keeps so many secrets, I can’t even keep up myself,” Yunjin says.

“What’s up with Charles Widmore?” Yunjin asks! As if we know… And she also says that she feels “wow” whenever she sees a ew episode this season.

Last week in Los Angeles, Carrie Ann Inaba (Dancing with the Stars, Dance Wars: Bruno Vs Carrie Ann) and Bobby Lee (MADtv) announced the nominees for the 2008 JCPenney Asian Excellence Awards.
