A couple of LOST scoops from Ausiello
March 24, 2009 by Robin Parrish

Somebody’s getting married on the season finale of Lost. But this may not necessarily be a spoiler, as it’s very likely what we’ll be seeing is a flashback. According to Michael Ausiello at EW, “Actors of Asian-American descent are being sought to play extras, and the wedding will take place on the mainland, not the island.” That almost ensures that we’ll be flashing back to Sun and Jin’s wedding, doesn’t it? It makes sense — we know the long-awaited Sun/Jin reunion isn’t likely to happen until very late in the season anyway. Sounds like they’ll finally be reuniting in that season finale, and for added context, we’ll get to see their wedding, to boot.
But Ausiello also points out a truly wild alternate theory: what if it’s Sun and Jin’s daughter Ji Yeon, marrying Aaron in the future? Sounds just crazy enough that it could be possible.
Ausiello also broke a news story about a mini feud over a discrepancy between actress Rebecca Mader’s real age, and the age of her character, the late Charlotte Lewis. It’s a whole big they said/she said back-and-forth that I don’t really care to repeat here, ’cause it’s kinda “much ado about nothing.” It all got sorted out in the end, but if you really want to read the entire sordid affair, click here.

It’s all about Daniel Dae Kim’s Jin in this edition of the Lost Official Podcast. Turns out, he did know all along that Jin was not really dead, and was sworn to secrecy. He also mentions that his storyline with the young Danielle and her Frenchman crew is going to give Jin a unique place in the show’s mythology…
Lost Spoilers - Jin Dead or Alive?

Lost Season 5
Spoilers
Kristin at E!Online gives us some scoop on Jin’s perceived death.
“They’re going to make us sweat out the fate of Jin. We won’t see him at all for the first three episodes, and it’s not until episodes four and five that we’ll really understand what happened to him when the freighter exploded.” Well that’s not good!
Kristin also says that Jin will be found floating on a door in the ocean. Hmmm, sounds like that’s what the pool filming was all about! Well at least we can tie that together.
Lost - What’s Happened to Ben and Jin
June 4, 2008 by Nikki Katz
The latest edition of Watch with Kristin was meant to clean up some loose ends resulting from the Lost Season Finale. A little bit spoilerish, but certainly no details!
Starting with Jin, the big question was, did he survive the freighter explosion? And the answer is a resounding YES!! “Jin is going to be fine,” Krisin says. She doesn’t know how, but he’s going to be fine. “I suspect that the difference between Michael’s and Jin’s survival is that Michael was trapped inside the hold, whereas Jin being up on the edge of the deck meant he had a chance to be blown clear of the ship.”
Another question revolved around Ben and his funeral parlor appearance. Was this the live Ben or a spirit-version of Ben? Kristin, after reading the comments of the Redux, seems to think that this is the real Ben. After moving the island and landing in the middle of the Tunisian desert, we have seen Ben alive and well and leading Sayid in the quest to kill people. So it seems that he has indeed been exiled from the island, teleported to a future point, and now lives and breathes among the Oceanic 6!
Daniel Dae Kim Okay with Jin’s Fate
May 9, 2008 by Nikki Katz
Daniel Dae Kim recently told SciFi Wire that he is okay with his character’s fate, whatever it may be…
We all know that in one of Sun’s flash-forwards we see a gravesite for Jin, but we don’t know exactly what happens. Neither does Daniel, but he’s thankful for the experience, no matter what happens.
“You know, if he doesn’t make it, it’s been a great ride,” Daniel. “It’s been an incredible opportunity. If he does make it, it means the roller-coaster ride continues. Either way, it’s a win-win.”
Daniel also revealed that he only knows a bit about what’s coming up. “Very broad, general strokes.”
Daniel is optimistic about future storylines involving Jin, regardless of whether or not he dies. “The writers–regardless of whether we’re ready to say goodbye to it or not–the writers have such a way of continuing to delve into the characters,” he said. “So there’s always seem to be more story to tell.”

Lost Mobisode
Episode 7: Arzt & Crafts
Transcript:
[Jin and Sun sitting on the beach. Looking through clothes. Talking in Korean.]
Jin:
[pointing at something] I think they are lovers.
Sun:
They’re not.
Jin:
He looks at her like they are.
Sun:
Boone and Shannon are brother and sister.
Jin:
How do you know? Do they speak Korean?
Sun:
It was just a guess.
[Arzt comes running up to them.]
Arzt:
What’s all this about moving from the beaches, huh, going to the caves? Are you guys going, to the caves?
Hurley:
[sitting a few feet away with Michael] They don’t speak English, dude.
Arzt:
[to Hurley and Michael] Oh. How about, are you going?
Michael:
I don’t know what you’re talking about, man.
Arzt:
I’m talking about the caves. Are you going to go to the caves? Jack and that bald guy, and uh, what’s-her-face, they found some caves, and they think that actually we should move from the beaches to the caves.
Hurley:
So, why shouldn’t we?
Arzt:
Why, sh… Ok, A #1, moisture. Caves are abundant with moisture. Moisture breeds bacteria, and attracts insects that would lay eggs in our mouths while we sleep. All right.
Arzt:
[turning around and yelling, slowly, at Sun and Jin] Hey, hey, hey. I know that you don’t understand me, but if there is a vote to go to the caves, you two, you vote no! Got it? No!
Michael:
Hey, shouting at them is not going to make them understand any more.
Hurley:
Hey, if Jack says it’s a good idea, maybe we should, like, trust him.
Arzt:
Why? You tell me. Because he’s a doctor? Is that what qualifies him for leadership here? How do we know he’s not a nut case? I want to tell you something. [leaning down and speaking quietly to Hurley and Michael] The other day I’m in the jungle, and I’m taking a leak, and Jack runs through the jungle, crying for his Daddy. [speaking louder, to all] Ok, fine, fine, you morons, you want to go to the caves, good riddance. I’m going to stay right here on the beach with all the people who want to survive. [Monster noise. They all look around.] I’ll uh, I’ll see you guys at the caves. [He walks away.]

Lost - Season 4 - Sun and Jin Get a Baby Name!

Season 4
Lost Rumors
A DarkUFO fan sent in some information on a possible name for Sun and Jin’s baby!
There are a lot of articles about Yunjin Kim’s new movie ‘Seven Days’ in Korea these days, (yeah I’m from Korea) and today I read something very interesting and translated the things related Lost into English.
“Yunjin Kim had returned to Korea last month to promote her movie, but she had to leave again after a very short time to film her new episode of Lost.
(It said Yunjin’s but I’m not so sure about that it means Sun’s)
When she had received her script, she got shocked to find out the title of her episode; ‘Jiyeon‘, and it is also the name of Sun and Jin’s baby.
Yunjin is surprised because the name of Yunjin’s character in her movie is Jiyeon, too. Jiyeon is name of Korean females, and I think it’s kind of common name but not that popular one.
Yunjin said that she thought that it’s a great coincidence and she was surprised that American writer could think of the name Jiyeon. “. Some articles said that she played the pregnant woman.
I’m not sure about that this article is 100% reliable, so I had sent the letter to the reporter for double-checking. When I get the reply, I would give you the confirmation.
I’m thinking of the possible meaning of the name Jiyeon.
