Evangeline Lilly Not Happy with ‘Maxim’ Cover

Evangeline Lilly says that she regrets some of her pin-up pictures, insisting that she only stripped down because she was told to.
She explains, “I was inexperienced back then and quite trusting so I had to learn how to deal with that.”
Evangeline also says that there are some burned bridges in her past because she trusted people and they did not follow through. “I ended up in Maxim magazine and things like that and I would never in a million years be caught dead in those magazines. So I’m now with the right people and they understand me.”
In other news, Evangeline was spotted out to dinner with Dominic Monaghan last week! Looks like they are still going strong.

Evangeline Lilly Stumbled Into Acting

Evangeline Lilly says that she stumbled into acting while doing “a psychological exercise” that involved going to auditions!
She wanted to challenge her fears by acting and then discovered that she was actually talented at the craft. “I had no intention for it to connect to a job. So when I got a job, I had to sit down and go, ‘Do I want to be an actor?’”
Before that, Evangeline hoped to be a flight attendant. “I wanted to see the world, and I didn’t have money. I was living on tea and peanut butter… so I went and I did the flight attendant training.”
I think this is a better way to see the world!

Evangeline Lilly Tosses the Bikini

Evangeline Lilly says that she hates being seen as a bikini babe and now avoids heading out to the beach.
Evangeline says that the paparazzi are constantly targeting her in Hawaii and now she’s had to give up her love of the sun, sea and surf.
“I’ve had to change my whole life,” Evangeline says, according to
Michael Ausiello chats with Evangeline Lilly on the carpet at the Emmy Awards. Evangeline lets us know that ALL of the scenes are shot in Oahu and they can make it look like Africa, Australia, Korea, England, “It’s amazing what our set designers can do!”
When asked if Kate had chosen Sawyer, Evangeline says “I feel like by the end of Season four it was so ambiguous and everyone ought to have been so confused.“
