Can you picture Jorge in the role of Sawyer? I think he has some of the sarcasm and comedy, but I just love him too much as Hurley!!

More of Jorge Garcia at the 48th Monte Carlo TV Fest!! This time E!Online sat down with the man-otherwise-known-as-Hurley and got the scoop behind playing a crazy character and getting back to the Island.

Jorge says that playing the flash-forward Hurley is the trickest part. “I’ve gone to directors and asked, ‘How is it that I get to the point to where I decide that blowing up the food is the best possible way to resolve this issue?’ And all they can really say to me is, ‘Well, you’ve been in a mental institution.’” Jorge doesn’t find that particularly helpful so he just decides to believe that if Hurley feels that this is how it has to go, then Jorge’s just going to commit to it.

When it comes to the Oceanic Six getting back to the Island Jorge is hoping that it only takes one season. “I think that’s what a lot of season five is going to be about,” he says. “And hopefully we can do it in a season.” He is curious to know how it’s all going to happen and what kind of “buddy adventures” Hurley and Sayid will get into.

Does Jorge have a theory on how the show is going to end? In a big ole fight! “I feel like there’s going to be a fight for the Island. There are at least two competing powers who can lay claim to that Island, and I feel like there is going to be some kind of fight for it at the end.”

WOW, Jorge Garcia has a great voice!! Definitely check out this video of Jorge singing “Here’s To You.” The song is from the upcoming independent film When We Were Pirates, starring Jorge and Sharon Zimmer.

The movie is directed by Jimmy Hanks and written by Rafael J. Noble. Not much is known about the film but stay tuned for more information.

Lisa Finnegan is at the Monte-Carlo Television Festivall for b5media and had a chance to sit down with Jorge Garcia.

Jorge said that he will miss working with the Lost cast when he leaves the island - whether that’s in two years when the show wraps or sometime before that if Hurley kicks the bucket!! “We all bonded easily and we enjoy working with each other,” Jorge said. “We hang out together, Josh has barbecues that we go to sometimes and Daniel has had people over. It is going to be very weird to move back to LA, I mean I drive slower because they drive slow in Hawaii and there are a lot of things like that and so I don’t know how it will go.”

Jorge’s favorite scenes are those where there are several members of the cast at the filming. “It was really fun hanging out in the van driving all over the place and I really liked when the lady parachuted in. That was a lot of fun because there were a lot of us hanging out.”
