LOST 5.10 “He’s Our You” pregame
March 25, 2009 by Robin Parrish
Fire up the barcalounger, put the kids to bed early, and turn off the phone. It’s Lost night!
This week’s episode, 5.10 “He’s Our You,” is about what happens when someone *cough*Sayid*cough* deviates from Sawyer’s carefully-orchestrated plot to keep the survivors safe in the Dharma Initiative. It looks like what goes around comes around for our resident torturer…
Here are some goodies to help you set the mood. First up, a trio of sneek peak videos courtesy of E! Online. The first vid is below, the other two (along with more pregame goodness) are right after the jump.
Lost 5.08 sneak peeks
March 3, 2009 by Robin Parrish
Here are a couple of early teasers (courtesy of ABC and E! Online) from this week’s episode of Lost, entitled “LaFleur.” In case you’re leary about being spoiled, it’s worth knowing that this entire season, the early clips that ABC has posted online have almost entirely been footage from near the beginning of the upcoming episode. So there’s no real spoilers involved — none that you wouldn’t see in the first five to ten minutes of the show, anyway.
Both of these clips deal with the small group of survivors left behind on the island, and appear to take place very soon after Locke turned the frozen wheel — and probably well before the Oceanic 6 returned to the island to a stunned Dharma-ized Jin.

This scene continues this scene at the Orchid with Jack and Locke…
Locke tells Jack that he’s going to have to lie about everything, everything that happened since they got to the island. “It’s the only way to protect it,” Locke says.
Jack says that nobody needs to protect it.
“It’s a place where miracles happen,” Locke replies.

Dan approaches Charlotte and Miles. Charlotte asks what’s wrong.
Dan says that he’s leaving in ten minutes to take the next group of people to the freighter. “You need to make sure you’re with me on the raft,” he tells Charlotte and Miles.
Miles says he’s going to stay.
“I don’t think I’m getting across the direness of the circumstance,” Dan says.
“Oh no, you’re very dire,” Miles replies. “But I’m still going to stay.”
Dan walks off.
“I’m surprised you want to leave,” Miles tells Charlotte.
“Sorry?” Charlotte says.
“It’s just weird, you know, after all that time you spent trying to get back here.”
“What do you mean, get back here?”
“What do I mean?” Miles asks before turning away.

Ben and Locke wall down the hall of the Orchid station. Ben messes with some controls.
“Is this the magic box?” Locke asks.
“No John, it’s not,” Ben replies.
Locke asks what it’s all for.
“The same thing that all the Dharma stations are for. Silly experiments,” Ben replies.
“What kind of experiments?” Locke asks.
Ben pulls something out of a drawer. He sarcastically tells Locke to watch a video that will answer all his questions, while Ben takes care of business.

Kate, Sawyer, Jack, Hurley, and Sayid are on the helicopter with Lapidus. Lapidus starts tapping the dials. Sayid asks what is the matter.
“We’re losing fuel,” Lapidus replies. He tells Sayid to look outside. Sayid sees gas pouring out the tank.
“We have a fuel leak. A bullet must have pierced the tank.”
“We gotta find a place to set her down,” Lapidus says.
“No, don’t land!” Jack yells. “There’s still fuel on the island. We’ve got to get to the boat or this chopper is useless.”
“I’m telling you, I don’t see the boat,” Lapidus says.
“Well then keep looking!” Jack says.
“We gotta get every ounce of extra weight off this chopper. Anything that’s not bolted down, toss it out,” Lapidus replies.

“You’re gonna what?” Desmond asks Michael.
“Freeze it,” Michael says.
They have a bottle of liquid nitrogen. Michael says that the bomb needs a charge from the battery to detonate. “The battery runs on a chemical reaciton. I spray the battery, I can keep it cold, no reaction.”
The catch is that there is only one canister. If they use it up, they are back to where they started.
Desmond says to freeze it.

Keamy asks why she is running. She says that she’s being chased by Ben’s people. Keamy pushes both she and Ben to the ground and tell them to put their hands above their head.
We hear whispers in the woods and then the Others begin picking off Keamy’s team one by one.

Sneak Peek 1
Jack asks Locke what he wanted to speak about. Locke asks him to reconsider his decision to leave the island, and let bygones be bygones.
“You stay here in your little greenhouse but the rest of us are going home,” Jack says.
“But you’re not supposed to go home?” Locke says.
“Then what are we supposed to do?” Jack says.
Locke responds and says that he knows that he’s here for a reason. “And if you leave this place, that knowledge is going to eat you alive from the inside out. Until you decide to come back.”
“Goodbye John,” Jack says before turning.
