Michelle Rodriguez has been released from jail early after just 17 days, according to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Web site.
She had checked in on December 23rd to begin serving her sentence of 180 days for violating probation stemming from her DUI arrest. Michelle admitted to violating her probation by failing to provide proof of completion of community service and for drinking three times while wearing an alcohol-monitoring anklet.

Michelle Rodriguez headed off to jail in Lynwood, Calif this past Sunday. She’s serving her six-month sentence for violating probation in a DUI case.
According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Web site, the former Lost star was booked at 4:33 p.m. in the same facility where Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Lindsay Lohan did their time.
Although Superior Court Judge Daviann L. Mitchell forbid an early release for Rodriguez, the sheriff may have no choice but to override that order due to jail overcrowding, legal experts say.
