Katie at Katie For Work chats about her work on Lost this week She was cast as an extra for both Monday and Tuesday.

I was officially cast as “Mom on Swing.” This role required me push an 8 year old girl on a swing then stand by a fence and pretend to talk to a “Dharmite”, and as soon as a siren went off, I ran to my “daughter”, picked her up, and ran into a house. I also walked down a sidewalk right past Sawyer. I got to wear clothes from the 70s. I had to sign a confidentiality paper, so I don’t give away the plot, so that’s all I’ll say.

On Tuesday, I was a “Dharmite” … While I was waiting to be called to set, I was sitting at a picnic table with a few other background actors. Sawyer had a break, so he walked over to the picnic table and picked up a guitar and started singing the blues to me. Okay … he was probably singing to all of us, but he kept looking at me. It was crazy. Speaking of being so close to the actors, I had hair and makeup sitting between the girl who plays Juliet (Elizabeth Marshall) and the asian guy (Daniel Dae Kim). They were really nice and talked to me.

Amy Hart posts that she went sightseeing at Kualoa Ranch and saw some Lost filming. Lucky girl!

On part of the ranch property, they are filming Lost. I got to see all the crew milling around (no cast, but I did see all their trailers…not that I would recognize anyone other than Matthew Fox and only him b/c of Party of Five). Anyhow, we drove through their setup and they are filming an episode with a submarine and we got to see the sub…kind of cool.

In other news Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof headed to the Screenwriting Expo where they chatted a little about Lost and how it will all end. Cuse says that Season 5 will be more science fiction and Lindelof tells us that “by the time we get to season 6, it’s going to be f**king crazy!

As for all those questions that the fans are, Lindelof says they might not all get answered. “Sometimes we’re presenting things that are not really questions for us, but they become questions for the audience, and we don’t have an intention of answering them.

Ask Ausiello answered some new Lost questions… leaving me just as confused as before!!

It seems that the next issue of Entertainment Weekly will tell us some more on Reiko Aylesworth’s character. Everyone is guessing she’s with Dharma!

And there’s also the trio of new castmates. Doc Jensen weighs in, saying that “Phil and Jerry work in ‘corporate security,’ huh? And the doctor is ‘hippy-ish’? My guess: Flashback to The Purge. Phil and Jerry are Dharma footsoldiers, charged with protecting the weird science enclave from ‘the hostiles’/'the Others.’ Of course, we know they will fail miserably, as Turncoat Ben helped gas the village. Perhaps the ’situation outside of his medical experience’ that the doctor finds himself in is racing against time to save his fellow peeps from exposure to the gas.

Lost returned to Oahu Cemetery yesterday morning - the same scene that appeared in the Episode 2.17: Lockdown with the grave for Anthony Cooper.

According to Ryan at Hawaii Blog - the filming started as a peaceful scene, with Matthew Abbadon bringing Locke (in a wheelchair) to a gravesite for an intense conversation.

Things turned sour when it came time to leave. Locke waits in the back seat of a car as Abbadon locks his wheelchair into the truck. Abbadon closes the lid, and shots rang out. Abbadon is hit!
